A Separate Peace
Uninspired coming of age story based on the John Knowles novel. In 1942, bookworm Gene (Barton) transfers to the all-male Devon prep school in New England. His roomie is campus jock/rule breaker Finny (Moore), who can't wait to enlist. Finny practices his paratrooper moves by jumping from a tree into the lake below. Gene is the only one who'll jump with him and they forge a bond until a questionable accident affects their friendship.
