Over-the-top slapstick, remake of the 1968 Lucille Ball/Henry Fonda farce about blending a large family. Helen (Russo) and Frank (Quaid) shared a brief high school romance. Now it's 30 years (and 18 kids) later, they're both single, and the romance rekindles at a reunion. Conflict between the kids, their jobs, and their differing child-raising philosophies ensues, as do sporadic fits of humor. Fun and safe enough family viewing.
