Biopic of the 70s country-folk crooner hits the high points and explores the lows, but it's typical TV movie fare, made quickly after Denver's death in a plane crash. Although he bares no physical resemblance to the the singer, Lowe does a fine job. Based on the autobiography Denver co-wrote with Arthur Tobier.
