Plain Dirty
Abused wife Inez (Swain) has smitten local hermit Flowers (Verveen) help kill her husband (Thomas) then runs of with a rich lawyer (Urbaniak). Well, Flowers is none too pleased with that development, and sets out to vent his displeasure. Allusions to Shakespeare's MacBeth somehow work for this literate Southern Gothic tale, and the cinematography makes great use of the Virginia setting.
