MTV's Wuthering Heights
MTV pop-rock version, set in California, of Emily Bronte's classic romantic tragedy. The star-crossed lovers are blonde beauty Cate (Christensen) and a motorcyle-riding, up-and-coming rocker named Heath (Vogel). Cate's brother Hendrix (Whitworth) is suspicious and jealous and Cate, who's scared of her feelings, impulsively decides to marry nice guy Edward (Masterton). Certainly not for purists--or anyone out of their teen years.
