Degree of Guilt
Good miniseries adaptation of Richard Lloyd Patterson's novels "Eyes of a Child" and "Degree of Guilt." Lawyer Chris Paget (Elliott) makes the mistake of falling for associate Teresa Perlita (Zuniga), who's going through a bad divorce from Richie (Ventresca), a loser who wants custody of their daughter and a lot of money from Teresa. Meanwhile, he's taking on the defense of murder suspect Mary Carelli (Lawrence), who's also Chris's ex-lover and the mother of his son. However, this turns out not to be the only murder investigation going when Richie winds up dead and Chris becomes the prime suspect.
