The Believer
Inspired by the true story of neo-Nazi Daniel Burros and the New York Times expose that revealed he was Jewish. In Bean's version, Danny Balint (Gosling) is a ferociously intelligent former yeshiva student whose personal identity crisis has led him to a fascist movement led by Curtis Zampf (Zane) and to virulent anti-Semitism. But even while leading his own band of skinheads, Danny discovers he can't easily leave his Jewish heritage behind.
