All the Real Girls

Sophomore effort of writer-director Green is a sincere and poignant look at youthful love. Paul (Schneider), a twentysomething Romeo who's broken more than a few hearts in town, finds the real thing in Noel (played wonderfully by Deschanel), the 18-year-old sister of his best friend, fresh out of boarding school. Fully captures the real and often awkward moments of young love and the pain and confusion that can come with it. Schneider also helped conceive and write the story.
