Daredevil

Daredevil made his appearance in Marvel Comics in 1964. Having lost his sight in an industrial accident when he was a kid, his remaining senses are enhanced but he's basically still human. Too bad the movie isn't. It's flashy and loud but uninvolving. Lawyer Matt Murdock (Affleck) turns vigilante and dons red leather and a goofy mask when one too many criminals goes free. The big (literally) bad guy is Kingpin (an avuncular Duncan) who keeps flashy assassin Bullseye (Farrell) on the payroll. Meanwhile, Matt is trying to make time with heiress Electra (Garner) who thinks Daredevil killed her father--putting a crimp in the potential romance. Garner looks great in leather and refines the butt-kicking skills she uses in her TV series "Alias" to good effect. Affleck's sorta lightweight since Daredevil has lots of issues; he's better at sarcasm than angst.
