Dismal "comedy" about the late dot-com economy is itself late by at least a year. Not that timeliness would've helped this muddled, desparate-for-laughs mess. Marketing whiz Andy (Garcia) leaves his corporate gig to "do something important." He joins a hot tech firm run by digital guru Francis (Colantoni) who immediately resents him and assigns him to the hopeless project of trying to create a $99 PC. He assembles a quirky team of misfits for the project and geek jokes ensue. Only Dawson, as Andy's love interest, escapes with any dignity. Based on the Po Bronson novel.
