The Man from Elysian Fields

Byron (Garcia) is a failing novelist who's having trouble supporting his wife (Margulies) and family. At his lowest point Byron meets dapper escort service operator Luther (Jagger), who offers him a job as a highly paid gigolo. Hiding his new job from his wife, Byron begins seeing Andrea (Williams), who happens to be the wife of his literary hero Tobias Alcott (Coburn). Tobias, who is agreeable to the arrangement, soon begins to ask Byron for help on his novel, which he believes will be his swan song. Meanwhile, Luther is having his own complications with a client (Huston) with whom he has fallen in love. An offbeat, satisfying look at seduction, betrayal and forgiveness of all kinds.
