The Mystic Masseur
Ganesh (Mandvi), a disgruntled schoolteacher, is part of the Indian community of Trinidad. He longs to become a writer and is inspired when he returns to his rural village for the funeral of his father, a famed masseur and healer. Ganesh discovers he also has a talent for healing, finds success as a writer, and even tries his hand at politics before finding a private contentment. Based on a novel by V.S. Naipaul.
