Gambling addict and ex-con Henry Butler (Guttenberg) is required to perform community service as part of his parole. Since he's a former soccer coach, he finds a job at a boys' home where administor Karen (Lorain) figures a soccer team will teach the kids teamwork and sportsmanship. Familiar plot but that's not necessarily bad.
