Price of fame, media-obsessed drama set in the world of modeling. Sultry teen Tina (Pare) is playing on a women's hockey team in smalltown Ontario when she's discovered. French photog Philippe (Berling) puts her on the road to stardom, American manager Renny (Gibson) moves her career forward, but her success causes trouble for the older man she becomes involved with--celebrity restauranteur Barry Levine (Aykroyd) until Tina moves on. All the while she's part of the disposable, instant celeb culture but you're never too sure who's doing the manipulating and how much Tina is complicit in her own exploitation.
