Sweet Jane
Teenaged Tony (Gordon-Levitt) has AIDS and no family. He becomes infatuated with HIV-positive heroin addict Jane (Mathis), whom he sees in the hospital, and follows her into a dangerous street life. Although Jane treats him badly, Tony sticks around to "protect" her and they slowly establish a mutally dependent relastionship that offers surrogate family ties and solace for them both.
