Yet another remake of William Gibson's Tony award-winning play, following the 1962 movie and the 1979 TV version. This time around precocious Eisenberg is young Helen Keller and Elliott (particularly good) is her dedicated teacher Annie Sullivan. Rather a genteel retelling although Annie's breakthrough with Helen still carries a strong emotional power.
