The good doctor (Murphy) returns, along with his furry talking friends, who persuade him to save their forest from human developers. The vet must also find a mate for an endangered Pacific Western bear, but the only candidate is Archie (Zahn), a circus performer who has to be taught how to survive in the wilderness. Gastrointestinal and other bodily functions dominate the humor, and a subplot involving Dolittle's moody teenage daughter (Raven-Symone) nearly undoes the charm, but it's passable entertainment. Add half a bone if you're under 12 years old for this flatulence-obsessed outing.
