Glam
Eccentric writer Sonny Daye (McNamara) arrives in L.A. and is promptly exploited. His cousin Franky (Frank) takes Sonny's journal to a pair of schlocky producers who are impressed by the writing. So vain and ruthless Sid Dalgren (Danza) decides to control Sonny even while his tootsie, Vanessa (Wagner), begins to fall for the oddball's sweetness. Very talky. Director Evan's mom, Ali McGraw, has a cameo.
