Festival hit--and the first film to be digitally distributed to theatres--predates "The Blair Witch Project" in telling the story of a group of young people who go into the woods with video cameras and meet a grisly fate. But this one is much more complicated and ambitious. Directors Steven Avalos and Lance Weiler play public access cable TV show hosts who take a sound man (Clabbers) and a psychic (Seward) into the Pine Barrens for a live broadcast of their search for the legendary Jersey Devil. Only one comes out. A year later, a documentary filmmaker (Beard) and a video editor (Pulaski) try to find the truth of the matter.
