This bigscreen adaptation of E.B. White's 1945 children's classic is hardly faithful but has its own charms. Mr. (Laurie) and Mrs. (Davis) Little decide to expand their family through adoption and wind up with a tiny, talking, clothes-wearing white mouse named Stuart (Fox). Their son George (Lipnicki) has a hard time thinking of a mouse as his little brother and family cat Snowbell (Lane) thinks the rodent is snack food. When his attempt to eat Stuart fails, Snowbell turns to kidnapping. The array of digital effects is amazing.
