An attractive cast of yuppie failures gather in a Long Island mansion to whine and snipe at each other over dinner. Among them is Frick (Atterton), a persona non grata English filmmaker, who becomes obsessed with a moored yacht that belongs to a Hollywood studio bigwig, and fragile hostess, Ellie (Connelly), who's written a screenplay based on her own traumas.
