Yep, it's as bad as you've heard. The oft-delayed and much-discussed romantic-comedy features characters you don't care about (rich Manhattanites with more money than they need) in situations that've been done to death (bed-hopping amidst middle age angst and closet-hiding). Shandling and Beatty are the cad husbands who decide to risk 25-year marriages in the name of fighting boredom. Keaton and Hawn are the revenge-fueled wives. All are upstaged by Heston and Seldes as the gun-toting, foul-mouthed parents of one of Beatty's dalliances (McDowell).
