Frogs for Snakes

Self-conscious black comedy about New York loan shark Al Santana (Coltrane) who also spends his time as a wanna-be East Village theatrical impressario. And how everybody who works for Al as a collector is even more desperate to be an actor, including his struggling ex-wife Eva (Hershey). And how all the characters suddenly break into monologues from their favorite movies. And how none of this makes much sense and the actors have really done better work elsewhere.
