The Celebration
Danish patriarch Helge (Moritzen) is turning 60 and a black-tie bash is being given to celebrate the event. But the celebration turns into a rancid display when all the family skeletons coming rattling out of their closets. Everyone's got a score to settle and is more than happy to air the family's dirty linen. Danish with subtitles. The film was shot with a hand-held video camera in available light and sound according to the tenets of Dogma 95--a Danish filmmaking collective Vinterberg belongs to.
