Curtis, Sutherland, and Baldwin are members of a tugboat crew whose boat has been wrecked by a typhoon. They take refuge aboard a Russian research ship only to discover the Russian crew has been eliminated by a strange life form. The electricity-based alien considers humanity a virus and begins making bizarre killing machines out of body parts and machinery. The plot also seems pieced together from other sci-fi horror movies that did it better.
