Romanticized biography of Greek shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis, from the poverty of his youth to his later wealth and family and romantic liaisons and tragedies. Julia is adequate as the title character but English actress Annis is badly miscast as Jackie Kennedy Onassis. However, Seymour is terrific as Onassis's lover, opera star Maria Callas. Quinn, who played Onassis in "The Greek Tycoon," plays Onassis's father in this one. Miniseries based on the novel by Peter Evans.
