Ladies of the Chorus

Monroe stars as a burlesque chorus girl who shares the stage with her mom (Jergens) and a handful of other beauties. She meets and falls in love with a wealthy socialite (Brooks), but her mother completely disapproves of the relationship. Monroe later learns that her mother was in the same circumstances several years before. Although only her second film appearance, Monroe's talents are already quite apparent in this low-budget musical romance.
