A really cheap, quasi-nuclear protest film. A Russian scientist is chased by communist agents into a nuclear testing area and is caught in an atomic blast. As a result, he turns into a club-weilding monster. Voice over narration is used in lieu of dialogue as that process proved too expensive.

I have watched this film dozens of times. The film is good, but not in a spectacular way (i.e. "Jaws"). It's more good in a "cheesy" way. Sure, the film's plot is ridiculous, there's literally no dialouge, and the acting stinks worse then a Durian, but the film is still amusing in an interesting way. I suggest watching. **** Stars
P.S.: If the uncut version is too corny, watch the MST3K version.
