Brutal western has incarcerated bankrobber Dan letting slip the location of his loot to fellow inmate Griffin, who unfortunately turns out to be psychotic and due for release. When Dan's family is endangered, lawmen release him for a showdown with Griffin. Tense remake of "Kiss of Death" provides effective atmosphere and graphic violence in an Old West setting.
