Old West tales of cowboys, Indians, the Cavalry, steely-eyed gunslingers, square-jawed sheriffs, cattle drives, shoot-outs, gold rushes, wagon trains, and the opening of the Frontier, back when horses and trains were the preferred modes of transportation. These are the films that really define the western genre.
