Movies designed to scare the living bejeesus outta ya. Or give you a sense of creeping dread. Or make you afraid to go in the basement. Unstoppable killing machines, old-fashioned monsters, creepy houses, vengeful ghosts, ghouls, demons, outer space invaders, serial killers…these are a few of the horror buff's favorite things. These are the films that really define the horror genre.
