lower than the poop on the ground

I saw this with my family during Thanksgiving, because it was the ONLY movie playing. It was so stupid, i wouldn't pay 25 cents to see it. I wouldn't see it if someone paid me, unless it was a million that i was paid.

Very funny

I honestly rented this movie not expecting much - perhaps some chuckles over a couple hours... But I was very surprised at how funny this movie turned out to be! Great dialogue, some outstanding characters (Russell Brand's character really steals the show!) and lots of fun!

Funny. Keep the kids away, but funny.

Funny, walking the line between funny and obscene.

Better than expected
Reviewed by littlesam1 for Role Models at 2008-11-08 16:30:59
Role Models was much funnier than I expected. I thought it was going to be a typical feel good comedy about two losers who show they are really great guys in the end. It exactly that, but it was done with great humor and acting. Much better than I expected.

Entertaining for kids and adults

My six year old daughter was pretty scared the first time she saw the dinosaur in this movie but everything turned out fine and she has watched this at least 50 times now. Stiller as "Larry" and Owen Wilson as the miniature cowboy are a crack up in their straight-faced take of these ridiculous roles. Enjoyable pretty much from beginning to end even after the 25th viewing.

Celebrate the ridiculous 1970s

Print shirts with polyester suits... bad hair... jazz flute... misogyny. Plenty of reasons to dislike the 1970s, and a lot of reasons to enjoy the spoofs in this extremely light comedy. Christina Applegate is suprisingly fun to watch as the brave anchorwoman who battles the male-dominated newsroom in her climb up the career ladder.
