How could the Hound give this movie one bone. I saw this movie 4 times in 2 weeks at the theatre when it first came out. Yes, it is low budget and has bad dubbing, but there are so many classic scenes including the wood splinter in the eyeball and the underwater zombie, that you've got to love this if you like zombie films at all. It has a darker and more sinister feel and holds back on the obvious messages about modern society that have hurt the later Romero flicks. If you loved the first Dawn of the Dead (and even the remake for that matter), give this a try.
