Why do people like this movie?

I've never understood the hype about this steaming dump of a movie. Slow, uninteresting plot is obvious and once you know the big secret there's really nothing interesting left. Is it suppose to be funny or creepy? If you like singing, dancing cultists this ones for you. Woof Woof!
