If you saw The Pink Panther 2 and thought it was ok,or terrible then think again. The Pink Panther has been stolen again and this time the clumsy bumbling Insector Closeu (Steve Martin) is on the case to find the pink panther diamond with his sidekick and a group of CIA agents. With lots of action, humor, and some love this turns out to be three/three and a half bones and is also way beter than the first. Rated PG and 1hr. 32 minutes.
Reminiscent of the 80s teen comedy flicks

The Hound pretty much sums it up. A fun to watch movie with characters that could have come straight out of a John Hughes script, but strangely this feels fresh and original. Yelchin is great and the other actors all give terrific performances. This could have had a heavy-handed "don't let your teens abuse prescription drugs" overtone, but the story works itself out to be funny without being too crass and it doesn't hit you over the head with the subject. Oh, and if you are wondering who wrote the song that Charlie and his mom sing at the piano, it's "If you want to sing out, sing out" by Cat Stevens.
Not what you think....

....when a friend suggested this I thought they were crazy. I don't want to watch a movie about a catholic high school. I was SO wrong! Fresh! Funny! So VERY entertaining - and I swear I've met each one of these characters in my life! Good time! Watch for Susan Sarandon's daughter as the only Jewish student in this catholic high school - definitely has her mother's comedic timing :)
This is the movie I watch again whenever Michigan winters begin to drag me down. The scenery makes you want to book that trip to Tuscany -- Now! Loved the book, and since I never expected the movie to follow the book, was plesantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the movie. Fits within my personal genre of favorite movies I call life-affirming.
