Gotta lotta zing! Gotta lotta pizzazz!

So much energy and enthusiasm in this film - it's like it never stops. But you can always watch it again to discover more about it. And the special thing about the movie is the fact that watching it again you'll be able to relive the jokes and gags again and again, which never get tired. And there's that double combo of having Fox and Lloyd in the same movie. You'll never get bored of watching THIS movie.

Cartoon Humour Classic
Reviewed by PopcornDelight for Who Framed Roger Rabbit at 2011-11-25 08:38:37
There is no end to the hilarity of this movie - what with its gags and jokes - "Aren't you Eddie Valiant, or did you change your name to Jack Daniels?". I found the live action and cartoon combo fascinating, and especially loved the piano duet with Donald and Daffy Duck. It is full of historical cultural influences (The Ink And Paint Club, for example) and is full to bursting with many different types of characters. My favourite character is Judge Doom, along with the star of the show, Roger Rabbit. A richly, entertaining movie.

Halloween

A classic slasher film.. one of the greats.... reason why I love this movie is because the plot could really happen. A psycho could bust loose from a psych ward and do the things Michael does. this movie scared me

Appalling
Reviewed by tmeyer for The Holiday at 2010-08-11 08:43:43
Even by stupid romantic comedy standards, The Holiday is unfathomably bad. There are two parallel stories, which is two stories too many. The first, and marginally better, involves Jude Law and Cameron Diaz. Jude Law is ok - Diaz is awful. She is a charmless, superficial woman and why Jude Law could fall for her is unimaginable. With that story the film attempts to inject some overblown emotion at the last minute and tries to pretend like the audience cared about these characters. We didn't. The second one has Kate Winslet, a very boring subplot with an aging screenwriter, and one of the worst performances of all time by a horrifically miscast Jack Black. The Holiday is boring, it's annoying, it's interminable, and from beginning to end it's absolutely insufferable. Avoid like the plague at all costs.

The astronauts' bravery, their wives' fear and the calm panic engulfing mission control - it's all brilliantly shown on screen.

Look Behind the Door!

One of the original slasher movies. Jamie Lee is great in this. I remember being scared out of my mind. I saw them all; the rest never on a par with this one.

Excellent movie

Great drama, as well as "feel good" patriotic classic. All around excellent movie, with actors and story providing plenty of engagement, and scenery/effects gluing it all together. Own this one (and watch HBO's "From the Earth to the Moon" miniseries, almost a companion piece to this motion picture)!
