A group of club teens go to the French countryside and befriend a strange housekeeper named Joseph. Suspicions about Joseph begin to come to the surface. Things soon get nasty. A very strange, tasteless, slow paced horror film. It kind of plays like a combination of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and Human Traffic. What ultimately sinks the film is the ugly, nasty, cruel main characters and the real horror and shock being condensed to the final fifteen minutes. Ultimately interesting failure of a film. Unrated: Contains strong language and violence and some disturbing sexuality.
This was really fun to watch. No work of art, but neither was the original.
Kids will love this one; grownups will too!
