After Kevin Smith's breakthrough movie "Clerks" was well respected by audiences and winner of the 1994 Cannes Film Festival. We see another installment from him, this time in color, and subtracting the "Clerks" we all grew to know. The film is about T.S. (Jeremy London) a regular guy hoping to vacation to Universal Studios Florida with his girlfriend Brandi (Claire Forlani) as well as propose to her. She says she is helping her dad with a game show and can't make it. T.S. has no choice but to go to his best friend Brodie, a comic book worshiping, slacker who has well gets dumped by his girlfriend, Rene (Shannen Doherty). The duo are clueless what to do, till they head to local mall to find connection with another girl. They loiter and make trips to the food court for hours till they decide to sabotage Brandi's dad's game show with the help of the local stoner duo Jay and Silent Bob (Jason Mewes and Director Kevin Smith). The movie has a number of funny cameos like, my favorite, Ethan Suplee who is trying to find the hidden sail boat in a picture at the mall. He stands there for hours trying to point it out, while everyone points it out in a matter of seconds. The sad thing is this is one of Kevin Smith's least recognized movies, and probably worst reviews one. I however, think the movie is one of the best Kevin Smith movies, and goes on "My Top 20 Favorite Movie List". If your a fan of funny dialogue, check this out, if you a fan of Kevin Smith, check this out, if your an uptight CEO harassing your employees...skip it.

Rating: 4/4 Stars. Without a doubt we have to admit that with a rock bottom budget of $27k, director and actor Kevin Smith did a very well-done and smooth job with Clerks. The film stars Brian O'Halloran who plays crabby and up-tight Dante Hicks working at Quick Stop Convenience, and Jeff Anderson as careless Randal Graves working at RST Video. Dante (Halloran) must go into work at around 5:30am and stay till noon. He opens the store with a number of misadventures happens. If it's a anti-smoking group lobbing cigarettes at Dante to tipping a casket over at a wake, you can guarantee Dante will be involved. Dante also struggles with his previous girlfriend Caitlin (Lisa Spoonhauer) and a share of hassles with his current girlfriend (Marlyin Ghigliotti). One wants him in his life forever the other wants him to go to College to "get direction".Along with his friend Randal (Anderson) an obnoxious teenager who works next door to Dante at RST Video. He is no more than a pain persuading Dante to "rip in and bug the customer". The great thing about Clerks is that is digs into the "minimum wage" job in life. Instead of the occasional mob-boss, police man, etc we see the behind the counter life. Here we see a man who has to go in at the crack of dawn and stay there to closing. Clerks is a hilarious movie with incredible dialouge which makes it my all-time favorite movie, and easily the funniest comedy I've seen. With an incredible rock soundtrack with Alice in Chains, Soul Aslyum, and more. There really is noting to hate about Clerks.

Kevin Smith does a wonderful job showing the human side (pardon the pun) of the porn industry. Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks have a wonderful chemistry together, and it shines through. The supporting cast is great and the movie has a wonderfully touching love story.
