i couldnt resist shouting "ship" "ship" by seeing a ship behind Tom hanks. One should watch this movie before going to bed. The sound of waves will reverberate in your dreams.

More about the times than the man

I didn't know what to expect from this star-studded picture, but if you're looking for a biopic of RFK, this is not it. But the intertwined stories of various characters on the fateful day work nicely to provide a compelling background story that is emotionally moving. The use of historical footage is well done and doesn't detract or stand out too unusually. I couldn't keep dry eyes at the end and of note in the extras is a panel interview with various people who were at the hotel at that time.

Where is Steve Carrell when you need him.

This movie wasn't terrible nor was it as good as it could have been. If they would re-cast this film using Steve Carrell--I'm thinking of his Anchorman roll--this movie would be a real hit. imagine two hours of Steve saying "I love ball" and trying to explain to the flora and fauna how he has a party in his pants and everyone is invited. Good times..
