Unoriginal, uninspired and bad special effects!

That about sums it up...if this movie were meant to be humorous, it may have worked, but as it is, it's ponderous, boring, ridiculous and I had to force myself to watch the last 40 minutes (why I did, I'm not sure...guess I always hope it will get more interesting). Skip this one at all costs! I'll never get those 93 minutes back again!
I'm not gonna try to convince anyone that this is a "good" movie. But I like it, because they got one thing right: the car. The General Lee is definitely the star of this show (Shhh, no one tell Knoxville!). Anyone who loved the show loved it for the car...and Daisy, I suppose. But I'm with Bo on this one. That car is beautiful, and is lovingly shot throughout the movie. I can't think of a recent movie that better exemplifies the words 'car porn.' Sorry, "Gone in 60 Seconds" remake, if you'd have put a Charger in there for more than three seconds, you might have had a shot.
