Will Smith

I love this movie! It is one of my favorites. Will Smith (Detective Spooner) plays the part to a tee. He's believable,emotional, and funny. I like that. and most of all, he's smart. He doesn't trust the robots, and he's not backing down. Dr. Lanning was his friend and he smells a rat when the Doctor ends up dead. "Looking" like a suicide, Spooner begins to investigate, finding robots at every turn trying to kill him. Of course, no one believes him because of the 3 laws that all robots are programmed with which prevents them from hurting a human. This movie is smart, sharp, funny and sticks it to hard core believers in the "god of technology". In the end, "Sonny", the unique creation of Dr. Lannings, saves the day by turning against the evil robots and helping the humans. Bravo! I don't see how one couldn't like Sonny, he's awesome!

The African/black race backdrop was the most interesting and I wish Mann delved into it more deeply.

Vincent Price had the lead role in "The Last Man on Earth," an interesting 1965 interpretation that includes zombie/ vampire-like creatures. Charlton Heston gave a convincing turn in the popular 1971 version. Now comes Will Smith. He does an admirable job of conveying his character's plight. Scenes between Smith and his dog are very affecting. However, the film misses a bet by giving us fairly uninteresting CGI monsters instead of worthy villains for him to play against. As is, Smith carries the picture well enough to make it entertaining.

It took this guy three years to figure out that, despite being the only one alive, the cure for the virus was in HIS blood? Der.

the movie was amazing but can u tell me the reason why did they keep the name 7 pounds .

We've all seen the street kid movies before. This is one of the better ones if only for the cast of future A-listers.
