I have read many books and critics of the Bond movies and Man With The Golden Gun is never listed as a favorite. Its usually listed near the bottom of the list. I, however really like this one. Its one of my favorite Roger Moore Bonds and ranks high on my overall Bond list also. Christopher Lee is a wonderful villan. The movie is great fun and not to be taken seriously.
This is my favorite James Bond film. The story is the best in the entire series. The action sequences in Switzerland are top grade. Diana Rigg is remarkable and beautiful. The only thing this film lacks in Sean Connery. Its my favorite but not the best film. The best if From Russia With Love. With Connery I believe this one would have been the best.
Used to be one of my favorites

Years ago I would have probably put Goldfinger on the top of my favorite Bond lists. However with time I find that it has not aged as well as some others. It does have my favorite Bond, Sean Connery. Some of the best villans in the series. Plus who could forget Honor Blackman as #!@%*# Galore and Shirley Eaton being covered in gold paint. I like it a lot but it trails From Russia With Love and On Her Majesty's Secret Service. I think I would even place it below Dr. No.
From Russia With Love is probably the best in the Bond series. Its almost my favorite, being topped only by On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Rosa Kleb is one of my favorite villans. This one really sets the standard.
