1.5 no way this action packed splatter house is over the top action with a great opening that introduces the cast in a pretty original funny way. Opening death was unexpected and greatly appreciated(Hero one would think...dies!!!) great. Ya it won't will a oscar but no monster flick probilly will. This is horror. The acting is very well done actually. monsters look much better when then get rid of that cheesy looking Flintstone Buffalo Lodge coat. Very gory with some good death scenes, funny at points as well to balance out the action. I MUST SEE and own for true monster gore action fans. 3 stars
Fun, Campy Horror

Republicans beware!
First time director Arquette has a definite agenda here about conservatism, but if you like movies like Cabin Fever and Dead End, you will like this fun romp. A VW vanful of modern day young hippies venture to an outdoor 'Free Love' music-fest, only to be stalked by a Ronald Reagan mask-wearing psycho. Highlights include Paul Reubens (Pee Wee Herman) as a sleazy concert promoter, Jason Mewes (Jay from Clerks) as a drugged out hippie, and Thomas Jane as an unflappable sheriff. Don't look for spooky, scary here, but it's fun, fun, fun to watch!
