A New Tradition, Hopefully

Essential Christmas viewing, this movie is sweet w/o being sappy, has a moral w/o being preachy (though it ends w/ a sermon), and stars a young Cary Grant. What more could one want? I'd happily watch it every year!

WTF

Why is this such an overlooked Hitchcock?! Such a great story, with the typical Hitchcock touch of a blonde being terrorized, and by Cary Grant, playing a shady (suspicious?) guy for one of the few times in his career! If only he could've been the murderer like Hitchcock wanted...

A True Classic

Another film that needs no remaking, especially w/ Steve Martin at the helm. Truly an undervalued gem worth anyone's time, especially since it is one of the most poignant and funny versions of one of Hollywood's favorite morals (live your life).

What a combo

Grant and Dunne are perfect together in this all-time favorite classic screwball comedy. I can and have watched this over and over when I really need a laugh. I agree that the remake has nothing on this original.
