A very good vampire movie ... I love the plot setup ... a vampire for a next door neighbor

Back When Horror Was Fun

This movie was made in the spirit of good fun, and benefits from not taking itself too seriously. As a result, it contains quite a bit of humor to go with the chills. McDowall is great to see, and Sarandon does a solid villain; really terrific casting here. If you want a fun time, and not just a hack-em-up job, give this one a try.
