In 'The Mosquito Coast', Harrison Ford gives the least Harrison Ford-like performance I've ever seen. This is a compliment, because normally Ford only knows how to play Harrison Ford. In this movie, however, he gives a convincing portrayal of madness that had me sit up and pay attention. Kudos as well to the late River Phoenix. This movie's worth a look.

Not a bad film, but book was far better. Good props and filmography.
