THE WORST MOVIE!

Dont waste your time. I sure did. You will laugh at me for this but I tried to watch it THREE times and failed every time.I couldnt make myself do it. It is my top most hated film and I think someone should warn you before you make a mistake.

Humorous horror
Reviewed by Squint for Shaun of the Dead at 2008-09-09 18:20:41
Believe me, I am the furthest from a horror fan you can get, but I really enjoyed this film. Once I adjusted to the British accents and slang, the film was really funny and scary. My fave line is "They were a bit nibbly," said by Shaun's mum. [[Ed: Actually, I saw this film again and the line is "They were a bit bitey," but I think my version is funnier.]]

Should of never been made

There is only two reasons to watch this film... 1) if you are so utterly bored, and 2) if you are a fan of Orlando Bloom or Johnny Depp. The movie never should of been made. The worst part is the end, it sets itself up so that some moron could very well continue the Pirates saga if they had enough cash to throw around.

Movie goes off in too many directions.

If you have never seen the previous Pirates film this movie would seem disjointed at best. Its clearly set up as filler for the 1st and last movies. It is far better than the 3rd movie in the series, however not as good as the first. Main reasons to see the film are if you are like me, a fan of Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom. They both really carried the film and are imho, the best actors of all 3 films in this trilogy.

You will fall asleep

The worst part of this movie is that the first Pirates was so good. The contrast makes it that much more painful.
