The Best Superman Ever

George Reeves was fun on TV, Brandon Routh was fine in the newer movie, but Christopher Reeve remains the actor who made the role his. And the movie is a great one, too, against all expectations at the time. Sweeping epic origin story, fantastic (for the time) effects, inspirational music from John Williams, a cast that fill each role brilliantly. Nobody plays Lex Luthor the way Hackman does. The look and feel are still majestic, permitting a sense of awe that is rare in movies.

Typical Bruce Willis movie

I managed to see a part of this movie on HBO last week. I thought it was pretty good. Quite a typical Bruce Willis movie that keeps you engrossed through the whole movie before you realize the movie was all above running away from the bad guys. No more substance - but just completely engrossing.

Bill Murray at His Best!

This is Bill Murray's flat-out best performance ever. The jokes are non-stop, and if you just don't get it, well, "Mother, help me."

A holiday tradition!

Despite being panned by citics, this movie is a fantastic comedy, filled with hilarious dialogue and moments. Ending is a bit hokey of course, to keep with original - but I make this a holiday tradition to watch every holidays!
