Despite the disturbing nature of the film, A Clockwork Orange remains a real treat to the eyes and ears--Kubrick brings a beautifully psychedelic visual style to the movie, as well as a score of wonderful classical music. The script is great; a near-perfect adaptation of Burgess's novel. The acting is also amazing, as is the cinematography (Kubrick was a near-obsessive perfectionist, and it shows in every masterful shot).
