The movie tells two stories about the main characters. One story is kinky and very graphic (for mature audiences). The situations on this story are not gratuitous because these help develop the character to confront evilness face to face. The other is a suspenseful detective yarn which will keep you on the edge. Both stories end up relating to each other because both characters need each other to attain their goals.
